What would be helpful to know if you are considering me as your photographer? One thing I'm still trying to wrap my head around is my recent discovery that I think I am an extrovert. The people who have known me my whole life may have already known this but I have always identified as introverted until discovering photography. The high I experience from getting to meet new people, learning what makes them smile and capturing their joy brings me home buzzing after every session/wedding day. And I promise to always show up with a smile on my face and a lot of enthusiasm.
Beyond that, I love a lot of things including, but not limited to, my two perfect dogs, my handsome and supportive husband (pictured here), traveling everywhere (if I don't have a flight booked, consider me a mess), carbs (I'm also a dietitian and very pro all things carbs), being outside (hiking, walking, laying), and documenting (my memory sucks so I need photos to look back on ;)
I have been the documenter within my friend group since all the way back in middle school and this has remained one of my very favorite things to do. I am thrilled I get to capture all of these special moments for others. Whether it's the laugh or kiss shared in the in-between moments or the special hug from the person that means so much, these are just as important to me as the group photos and Pinterest-worthy portraits.
It is my passion and truest goal in life to make people feel good. Maybe you've never been professionally photographed before and are nervous about feeling uncomfortable or maybe it has been a tough day or week. In every session I aim to leave you feeling better, happier and more confident after our session than when you arrived.
